1. Avoid Screens

Don’t get on your phone as soon as you wake up. Seeing messages, emails, or notifications can cause negative thoughts to enter your mind. Allow yourself time to wake up before engaging on social media.

2. Gratitudes

Make a list (in your head or write it down!) of things you’re grateful for. Thinking of the good things in your life can give you something to look forward to and help create a positive mindset to begin the day.

3. Make your bed

Starting with simple tasks like this can help you feel productive before the day’s work really begins!

4. Stretch

Stretching helps your body wake up and get ready for the day. Your body needs a little stretching to get energized for the day.

5. Eat a healthy breakfast

Everybody says breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Eating a good breakfast can help you as the day begins by giving you energy and the ability to focus better, so you can accomplish more.

By integrating these few things into your morning routine, you can start the day off on the right foot!
