Keep Up With What Interns Are Learning in PD
Professional Development (PD) is a core part of the ProX experience and helps interns strengthen the work-ready skills they are actively using throughout the summer. Each week, students engage in learning focused on communication, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, and professional growth.
We encourage employers to stay connected to what interns are learning so those skills can continue to be reinforced within the workplace.

All off-site activities and location changes must be reviewed and approved by ProX in advance.

Employers are supported by ProX staff and assigned Coaches throughout the program.
Coaches regularly check in with interns and employers, help navigate challenges, and support a successful experience for everyone involved.

Employers should keep Coaches informed of important updates, schedule changes, or situations where additional student support may be helpful.

Communicate attendance concerns directly with the intern while also informing the assigned Coach.
ProX staff can help address underlying barriers and support accountability conversations when needed.

In the event of an emergency involving an intern, employers should follow their organization’s internal safety procedures first, then notify ProX staff and the assigned Coach as soon as possible so appropriate support and documentation can occur.
Meet Your Coach
Your coach is your guide through the ProX experience. You will meet often with your coach and they will check-in with you and your employer weekly. Get to know your coach, and take a peek at the other coaches working with ProX interns.
